Quality Woodworks provides professional post hole digging and post setting in Oshawa, Whitby, Courtice, Ajax, Newcastle, Bowmanville and across the Durham Region for fences, decks, gates, pergolas, and other outdoor projects. We use professional auger equipment to help ensure accurate hole placement, consistent spacing, and properly set posts.
Dig-only and dig-and-set services are available using 9" and 12" auger bits to suit different post sizes and project requirements. Ground protection mats can also be used where needed to help reduce lawn damage and keep access areas cleaner.
Ontario One Call locates are required before digging to identify public underground utilities. We can assist with arranging the locate if needed. Private utilities such as irrigation, landscape lighting, drains, and other privately installed lines are not included and must be identified separately by the property owner.

Pylex Foundation Screw Installation
Our Pylex foundation screw installation offers a fast, concrete-free solution for decks, porches, sheds and other outdoor structures. Standard screws are 50" long, fully adjustable and rated to support up to 5,000 lbs per screw. Extenders can increase total depth to 6' for higher deck applications, while optional stabilizers help reduce unwanted movement in less ideal soil conditions. Designed to resist frost heave, Pylex screws provide a cost-effective, long-lasting alternative to traditional concrete footings for ground level decks.
